Acebeam K75 Flashlight Review
Going Gear, the great store in Georgia sent me a light I’ve been itching to get my hands on… The Acebeam K75 – I’m sure you’ve heard of it, or if you’ve looked out your door at night you’ve probably seen me shining mine up into the air. This is a 18650×4 dedicated thrower with a Luminus SBT-90 Gen2, an uncommon emitter. Read on for some thoughts and testing!
Imalent RT70 Flashlight ReReview
In for review today is another Imalent, in the style of other Imalent’s I’ve had before (RT35, for example). The RT70 differs from the RT35 though, because while the RT35 was a thrower, the RT70 is much more of a mix/wall-of-light type light. The Cree XHP70 makes that happen. Read on for more!

BLF GT “Giggles” Flashlight Review
I’ve had the BLF GT for quite some time (it’s my oldest “review” piece, purchased way back in 2017). But I think this light is interesting enough that it bears having a look! I hope you don’t already know all you need to know about this >2000m thrower, and that this post will be interesting. Read on!
Sofirn Q8 Flashlight Review
I already reviewed this light once. That time, it was the BLF Q8. I liked that light then. I saw that Sofirn had a version of that light, and it was rumored that they manufactured the original BLF Q8, so I wanted to see if this version was “close enough.” Read on to find out!
Thrunite TN42 Flashlight Review
To be frank, I’ve asked for this light for ages, from multiple sources. Always got a response of ‘it’s not in season’ or something like that. Fortunately, the awesome guys at illumn.com send this watershed thrower to me, along with a few cells, (which I reviewed here.) Needless to say, I’m super excited to have this light, and glad to put it through it’s paces, even though it’s been out for a while.
Imalent RT35 Flashlight Review
Imalent has impressed me with some of their lights (Hello: DX80) and less so with others (the capacitive switch lights). So I was excited when I saw this light get listed on FastTech, and FastTech agreed to send one out for review. This is a very new light, and I’m very excited to have one for testing!
Astrolux MF02 Flashlight Review
Today I have the Astrolux MF02, the first in my quest to have all the MF0x series lights from Astrolux. This is the [smaller?] thrower option – there’s also the MF01, which is a can “wall of light” light, and the MF04, which is a super thrower. I generally like Astrolux and (certainly like the S41! thought technically I reviewed the Manker E14 version.) The MF02 is a nice large thrower with a warm emitter – a good combo. Let’s see how it works out!
JETBeam T6 Flashlight Review
I’ve gotten a taste for bigger lights and even though this isn’t a new light, I was excited to get it from GearBest. And I happen to typically like JETBeam lights, too. So here’s the JETBeam T6!
Lumintop SD75 Flashlight Review
Today I’m reviewing a light that isn’t even a new light. I asked for it, and GearBest provided. I have liked the looks and specs of this light for a while and I’m pleased to have one on hand to test. Let’s see if it stands up to my expectations.
