One of the bonuses working with Going Gear again comes in the fact that they are knife nuts. See their newest video for more proof of that. What’s better for me is that they’ve sent me a cool knife to handle, too. This is the (long name warning) Southern Grind Spider Monkey. It’s part of the GLOW series, and the blade is black PVD. The scales are Carbon Fiber. And they glow! Just a lot going on in this knife… read on for more – but mostly carry on because there are a bunch of photos!!
A long time ago, in a land far far away, emitters were expensive, and modding was hard and unusual. And sites with modding supplies were rare!
Back then, there were P60 light. Buy a host, buy one or many drop-ins, and boom, tons of options! P60 lights were an easy way to try different emitters or modes or whatever, without actual modification.
They still are! Though modding is possibly more common now, and certainly easier (due to tons of helpful videos etc), P60 is still around and available. So that’s what I’m reviewing today! Some of the most common P60 hosts, and one of their available drop-ins.
When I saw this one I immediately wanted one. I love cleavers, I love carbon fiber, and the overall design of this one just drew me in. GearBest sent one over – this is the Ganzo F7551-CF!
This tripod is another item I’ve asked over and over for GearBest to send me. They agreed and boy have they sent a nice one. I don’t have a ton of experience with tripods, but I’ve used this one and formed some impressions! Read on!
One more carbon fiber scale knife! And with an axis lock!! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one. Read on for more!
I love carbon fiber, and I love titanium. I was excited to get this carbon fiber scale knife, with titanium coated blade. The feel is fantastic!
Marketed for women, but a perfect “gentleman’s carry” light, this one has a great mix of things I love: Brass, copper, carbon fiber. Let’s see if it holds up to expectations!
