RovyVon has released a new, bigger light. It’s sort of a keychain light; bigger than their popular keychain series of lights, anyway.
This one’s still an Aurora. The aluminum you’ll see here is the A23, but there are others.
Nitecore’s just released a light with what appears to be a built in 18650. It’s fairly low cost, and can be considered a “complete package” light, and has features that can make it a compelling entry point to flashlights. Read on for more!
Today I have a light I’ve been geeked up about for a while now. Lumintop sent one to me for review, and I put it through the paces. Here’s the review of the Lumintop Geek! It has Nichia!!
Olight’s released another headlamp, in the same vein as the HS2, which I’ve previously reviewed here. I liked the HS2 (still have it and use it often), but it’s a very runner-specific headlamp. The H16 Wave is an interesting development, because it’s adds a “Wave,” ‘hands free’ feature. Let’s see how it all works for this light!
Another JETBeam with on-board charging! This time in 18650 format. I’ve already reviewed the similar AA/14500 light. I was excited to test this one out, because it’s also got an emitter I’ve never tested!
Here’s a new little Acebeam keychain light, but with some unusual bonus features: red emitter, uv emitter, and AAA cells, and 10440 support! And a metal body, which is an even nicer touch. I’m pleased to have this one, and happy to put it through the paces.
I have an in creasing interest in can lights, and this x80 by Acebeam looks so great…. I reached out to BestLight.io and they agreed to send one out for review. Here’s that review. Hope you enjoy!
There’s a new light on the block from Thrunite, and I weaseled a review unit out of them (just kidding, they sent it willingly!!). I’m excited to have this one, because there’s not a ton of info out there on it yet, and it’s nice to have an early copy!
Here’s a light from GearBest that I saw, thought looked neat, and GearBest agreed to send. I haven’t heard of Amutorch before, but they have a few offerings.
I’ve been a huge fan of the Olight S Mini (the brass S Mini is one of my most used lights!), and this S1 Mini is in some ways, it’s successor. Yes, it’s from the S1 lineage, but it’s smaller than the S Mini; which is more important? And now it’s available in High CRI? I was very interested. Keep reading to see how I like it now!
Another in a long line of Olight is the Olight M2R. This one is highly anticipated and regarded, with the momentary and recharging tailcap. It’s a cool light on paper, so let’s have a closer look.
It should be well known by this point that I am a fan of Skilhunt. I’ve been a huge fan of the H03, and that’s just fostered a favor toward the brand. I’ve been asking over and over to get some other Skilhunt lights from Gearbest, and finally they obliged me by sending this S2 Pro and S3 Pro. Both are form factors I already know I like (like the Nitecore P30) but add on-board charging to the mix. Let’s see how they fare!!
