Nitecore P18 Flashlight Review
Nitecore has produced another interesting experiment with die-casting flashlights. The P18, using a single 18650, has both white (main) and red (secondary) outputs, with dual switches. Read on to see how the light performs!
Maglight MicroMag (kyfishguy) Flashlight Review
Another Friday! Another Fun Fund Friday! Today I have in my hands a light I bought for myself…. Nostalgia, new emitters,… plenty of reasons. But ultimately it came down to someone (u/tebeve, on reddit) lending me his copy of this light, and me realizing I really wanted to have one of my own. This is a MagLite Micromag, which has been modified by kyfishguy on BLF. The mods are extensive! Read on to see about them, and this light.
Nitecore NU25 Headlamp Review
I’ve reviewed a bunch of Nitecore lights, but somehow this little headlamp slipped under the radar. Nitecore reached out, and soon this diminutive three emitter, high CRI, lightweight headlamp was in my hands! This is my kind of light, so I’m interested to see if it’s any good!
RovyVon A8 Y Flashlight Review
There was a group buy organized on reddit of this special run of the Aurora series… It was this Nichia version, with a modified UI. I got my copy recently and I’ve been playing with and testing it. It’s similar enough to the older ones that this review will be brief[er] on text, but with description of differences.
KillzoneFlashlights.com Hunting Light Flashlight Review
Occasionally I get a light that I ask for. Sometimes I don’t… Sometimes I ask for something just because it looks fun and awesome and like it also might get you shot by police, and I get sent this light for review. This is a hunting light. I’m no hunter. It’s still neat and fun, and I can evaluate. I hope the info here will be useful for hunters. This light has so many options. I tapped out just a little with regards to a leave-no-screw-unturned rigorous evaluation, but I hope there’s a reasonable amount of info here.
Also forgive me for a little bit of holiday cheer – I’ve saved this Red and Green light for my Christmas Light review!! Merry Christmas!
Nitecore NU10 Headlamp Review
Here’s another Nitecore headlamp; GearBest sent this one over. It’s a [multi] emitter light with an indicating switch and red secondary. Most importantly, it’s a high CRI light!
Acebeam UC15 Keychain Flashlight Review
Here’s a new little Acebeam keychain light, but with some unusual bonus features: red emitter, uv emitter, and AAA cells, and 10440 support! And a metal body, which is an even nicer touch. I’m pleased to have this one, and happy to put it through the paces.
Acebeam X80 Flashlight Review
I have an in creasing interest in can lights, and this x80 by Acebeam looks so great…. I reached out to BestLight.io and they agreed to send one out for review. Here’s that review. Hope you enjoy!
Nitecore HC65 Headlamp Review
Nitecore has a few headlamps out now and this one is an interesting entry – it has three emitters. A main emitter, a secondary NW emitter, and a red emitter. All powered by a single 18650 and in a reasonably small package.
Nitecore NU05 Headlamp Review
While most flashlight’y people don’t like a headlamp that has any plastic whatsoever, I am not in that group. This Nitecore NU05 is a kind of novel headlamp because it’s a headlamp/bike tail light. Regardless of it’s utility, it’s fun.
