Today I have in hand my third BilletSPIN Pen. This one is the second titanium I’ve handled, and is a different finish from the Thunderstorm I posted just the other day. This is the “Dragon’s Breath” and is a titanium Soul Pen! Read on for more pics and thoughts!
Today I am reviewing the Reylight Krystal. This is a light I wanted for a long while but … well to be honest, not at “new” prices. I finally found one used at an acceptable price. I love many things about this light, and dislike a few. Read on for thoughts and testing!!
Along with a light Nitecore sent recently, they sent this little NSH10 – a keychain carabiner with a couple of extra and unusual features. Read on for more!
Since I started writing reviews back around 2015, I’ve wanted to include watches on my site. Specifically G-Shocks, since that’s what I’m most interested in currently. Many of my collection (50+) are used, so I don’t find it “fair” to review those (or even post photos in the manner seen here). But this one is different. It’s special in many ways, and I bought it brand new. So I know it’s provenance and what’s happened to it since. Truly this post is much more of a “look at this gorgeous watch” since I don’t plan to test many of the features of the watch. But mainly, does it live up to the hype. That I can answer!
I have handled one BilletSPIN pen before and was impressed with it. It was a heavy copy though – stainless and brass. I love those two metals, but for a daily driving pen, I tend toward something lighter. This answers that request – it’s titanium! Also the clip is updated…. otherwise very similar pens. Read on for more pics and thoughts!
One of the bonuses working with Going Gear again comes in the fact that they are knife nuts. See their newest video for more proof of that. What’s better for me is that they’ve sent me a cool knife to handle, too. This is the (long name warning) Southern Grind Spider Monkey. It’s part of the GLOW series, and the blade is black PVD. The scales are Carbon Fiber. And they glow! Just a lot going on in this knife… read on for more – but mostly carry on because there are a bunch of photos!!
There’s a new titanium keychain light on the market, by a brand you probably haven’t heard of. This is the Rover Camel Ta6132, and it’s a pretty well featured little light, that also happens to be keychain size. Read on for some testing and thoughts!
Lumintop is now offering an updated version of the ever-popular Tool AA light – the 2.0 version is made of titanium, and offers some neat features! Read on!
I once saw MecArmy as a flashlight company. The more I see their Facebook and Instagram posts, the more I realize they’re actually a gadget company. That’s certainly the case with the item I have in my hand today – the MecArmy GP1 fidget spinner. Appointed with anodized titanium, and very fidgety…. Read on for some thoughts and pics!
The Thrunite T10T has been a popular light if for nothing else than just as a good conversation piece. It’s a titanium AA/14500 light with a side e-switch. Youtube personality cutlerylover worked with Thrunite to make a titanium version of the venerable T10 v2, and thus we have this T10T V2 cutlerylover. Read on for thoughts and testing!
My next item from Billetspin is not a top! It’s a whistle. This is a newish market for Billetspin, but they have a bunch of products in the category. They’re very pretty pieces, but also functional whistles! Read on for more.
BilletSpin has released a new top. It’s named “The Vanguard” and they were kind enough to send one my way. It’s gorgeous, too – a 3-color Mokume / Flamed Titanium top, with a Ruby sphere atop the stem. Truly a stunning top.
I’ve had a couple of pens in for review lately, and that’s been great! I write a fair bit for work, so it’s been nice to have something other than my custom Bic Clic Stic pen. This is the Astrolux TP01, a titanium body light which fits the Parker style refill. Read on for more!
Today I have in my hands a … knife… from Nitecore. It’s an unusual device, so calling it a knife might be a bit of a misnomer, because it’s most usual use case will likely not be … knifing. What it essentially is, is a titanium scalpel handle. Read on for more photos and a few thoughts!
One of a few lights I recently received from NealsGadgets was another Amutorch. A triple, but an unusual one – it’s a 26650 cell, broad head triple with an indicating switch, and on-board charging.
Today I have a special light. This is another “new to the flashlight market but skilled in other stuff” flashlight. And it’s unusual. Titanium and copper mix, and it’s a reflector light. It’s not a run-of-the-mill triple, as so many customs* are these days. I’m excited to have this one in my hands, and I hope if nothing else, the glut of photos I’ve included here tell you the story of this light!
Someone new has jumped onto the scene in flashlights! The guys at Custom Knife Factory (CKF, from here on out) – unsurprisingly more known for…
There’s a brand new flashlight maker on the scene. Mechforce has been making all sorts of things: firearm accessories and parts, spinners, and tools, and has this new entry to the flashlight world. It’s the Mechtorch EDC Flashlight. I’m super excited to have one of these and pleased to submit this review. Read on for photos and thoughts!
This is a review I’ve been putting off for months now (literally – I received this light way back in July). This is a new light by Amutorch, sold by BangGood, using 18650s and emitting with Cree XP-G3’s.
Read on for more! This is a review you’ll probably enjoy!
I was lucky enough a while back to get in on a Sinner drop directly from Sinner himself. So this light came to me directly from United Arab Emirates. I was excited to snag it, but you don’t have to get these that way. There is at least one site that drops these lights on occasion. This is my review of the Sinner 18350 Ready-Made Titanium Flashlight.
