Versions
I wouldn’t call them versions, but the G10 handles are available in a variety of colors, including orange (seen here), black, green, and carbon fiber. This is the “Large” version, butthere’s also a nuanced version of the J1912, which is just a bit smaller than this version.
Price
The CJRB Feldspar G10 knife sells for $53.12. The CJRB Feldspar G10 knife is available on amazon.com for much less, at $28.79 (referral link.)
Short Review
As you well know, I prefer small knives! This being the “large” version might incline you to believe I’d like the small better (and you’d be right, as I have one of those too). But this large version is great. It opens nicely, locks securely, and looks great in orange! (Small isn’t available in orange!)

Look
This orange is very orange! In fact, and as you’ll see later, the orange is “the right orange.”
I don’t love the red ring around the pivot screw; I’d say it is quite mismatched against the orange.
Open / Close / Lock
The CJRB Feldspar G10 knife is opened mainly by the thumbstud. There’s a thumbstud on both sides of the blade, but there’s nothing else. This isn’t a flipper, and there is no hole or thumb nick for opening. It’s thumbstud or pinch to open!
There’s a great bit of access to the thumbstud, at least!
Locking is via this liner lock, and lockup seems secure. I didn’t have any issues with this. Unlocking is on the order of “easier” from the other CJRB knives I have, so that’s good. Unlocking is easy.
Build and Feel
The knife has a nice weight. G10 usually provides a good amount of grip and that’s true on the Feldspar too. Note that the scales aren’t contoured very much. They have beveled edges, sure, but they are in fact flat on the sides.
Blade centering when closed is very good. There’s no blade play or slop, either.
Both sides of the pivot screw accept Torx drivers.
The spine is rounded, so using this on a flint is probably not going to work too well.
Size
Blade Length 3.53” (89.67mm)
Blade Thickness 0.13” (3.2mm)
Overall Length 8.11″ (206mm)
Closed Length 4.57” (116mm)
Here’s the Feldspar alongside some of my favorite flashlights (above) and one of my favorite knives, below. That’s the Civivi Elementum, which I’ve also made a post about. Note the difference in orange here. This really points out how “soft” the Elementum orange is.
Steel / Cut / Oats
Steel on the CJRB Feldspar G10 knife is D2.
Grind is “flat” and the blade also notably has a black PVD coating.
Retention
Carry of the CJRB Feldspar G10 knife is by way of a deep carry pocket clip. This clip ships attached as seen below.
The clip does not sit “into” the body (ie there’s no cutout in the scales) (as you can see above) but it does provide a nice deep carry.
Thanks to these two holes on the opposite side, the clip can be reversed if you need opposite carry.
Conclusion
The CJRB Feldspar knife with G10 scales has great build quality and rides quite “slim” in the pocket. I appreciate the deep carry clip and access to the thumbstud is excellent, too. For the price, I’d say it offers fantastic value!

Cjrb is kindof a grab bag for me. Some stuff makes sense and some doesnt. Their brand new pyrite is super solid though. And the steel they use is an in house powder metallurgy steel called AR-RPM9. I think they say it’s got edge retention of D2 but corrosion resistance of like 14c28n. It seems really great for the price.
That Pyrite looks great! Wish there was a small version!
