After my Surefire G2 review, I talked to Gene Malkoff about sending some LED replacements. He agreed and sent the M61L, which is suited for the nitrolon body of the Surefire. He also threw in the package the big brother of the M61L, the M61, which is similar aside from the “L” – where “L” stands for “low output.”
I’ve reviewed a bunch of Nitecore lights, but somehow this little headlamp slipped under the radar. Nitecore reached out, and soon this diminutive three emitter, high CRI, lightweight headlamp was in my hands! This is my kind of light, so I’m interested to see if it’s any good!
Today I have for review the second in my collection of Malkoff lights. This is the MDC HA 1CR123 (that’s the full product name). It’s a hard anodized (HA), single CR123 (1CR123) light, with three modes.
Convoy has added a small AA light to their lineup. It’s a small version of the Convoy S2+, and called the T2. It’s literally a shrunken S2+, which is fantastic, but lacks Li-ion support. Read on for more!
Nitecore has recently released a couple of special edition small lights, the full copper TIP and TINI. While I’ve reviewed the TINI before, I thought a full copper version might warrant an updated review!
I, like everyone else, recently reviewed the Ultratac A1. When I agreed to that one, I also asked for this light, the Ultratac K18 Mini Brass. Mike at Ultratac agreed, and here’s my review of this tiny little light!
Everyone probably knows by now I enjoy brass lights. All kinds, all sizes…. I recently acquired the Maratac PCL in Brass. I don’t like these as keychain lights, but they’re fun lights to keep around. They call it the Personal Carry Light, and here are my thoughts!
I’ve had a run of keychain lights lately. And today I have another one by MecArmy. I recently reviewed the SGN7, and today it’s the SGN3, a much smaller keychain light. This one has three emitters (white, red, and uv).
Seems that I’ve been on a keychain light kick lately, and here’s another one! Well, in some sense, anyway. This is more of a rectangular light with unusual features…. Also my first MecArmy light in basically forever (the other being the PT16, which I really liked.) Read on for more info and thoughts about this MecArmy SGN7!
