A while back, my hard anodized TorchLAB BOSS was updated from the original (as shipped) Lux-RC 371d driver, to the new firmware 371 v2.0 driver. The light itself has been reviewed already, so this review is going to focus mostly on the new firmware.
I’ve had for a while the new Oveready P35 P60 host in hard anodized aluminum. This is a host that at its base level supports a single 18350 cell, but with the included extension can run a single 18650, or 18350×2 if a drop-in supports that. Read on for some thoughts and photos!
Here’s one of those random reviews of a light (and items) that I purchase myself, and am completely free to say what I want. (That’s a joke; I say what I want about all items I review, no matter how I get them.) This is a light I’ve eyeballed for ages, but never ponied up the money for. I had a failed purchase through another site, so I decided to use that money for this light. It’s the Oveready Lava P60 host. I paired it with two drop ins; a 371d p60 triple drop in, and an Oveready DIP 8-mode 219c drop in. I’m excited to have this light, and glad to put forth this review!
