Reylight Krystal Flashlight Review

Today I am reviewing the Reylight Krystal.  This is a light I wanted for a long while but … well to be honest, not at “new” prices.  I finally found one used at an acceptable price.  I love many things about this light, and dislike a few.  Read on for thoughts and testing!!

RovyVon A29 Brass Flashlight Review

Another RovyVon!  This time it’s the brass version, and one I bought for myself.  That’s a testament to the other two from this series I’ve reviewed – the A23 and A28 – I liked them enough to put my own money into a version.  The A29, brass of course.

RovyVon A28 Flashlight Review

I find no better way to start 2020 than with a post about a RovyVon light.  RovyVon was huge for me in 2019, and I have this post and more upcoming from them.  This is the A28, a clear body light which has two secondary emitters – red and UV.

RovyVon A3x Flashlight Review

RovyVon has released an update to their very popular Aurora A2/A3 series of lights.  RovyVon sent over an updated A3 light – the A3x.  This is as much a new light as it is an update, but addresses issues raised from the initial release.  Have a look, and see if the improvements are compelling!

Acebeam H50 Headlamp Review

Acebeam has dropped a new headlamp in the form of a three emitter 18650 light with USB-C charging.  It’s a nice looking device with three emitter options.  Read on for more thoughts and testing!

RovyVon A23 Flashlight Review

RovyVon has released a new, bigger light.  It’s sort of a keychain light; bigger than their popular keychain series of lights, anyway.

This one’s still an Aurora.  The aluminum you’ll see here is the A23, but there are others.

MechForce Tactical Suppressor Turbo Flashlight Review

Since my early days of talking to Mechforce about flashlights, they mentioned doing this 21700 light.  I talked to them a bunch about it but more than anything, I think they took comments (including many of mine specifically) about the MechTorch to heart.  They’ve just released this 21700 light, named the Tactical Suppressor – basically a [Hot Rod in the Turbo format] tube 21700 light.  Read on for testing!

Lumintop IYP25 Flashlight Review

I mentioned the other day that the In Your Pocket (“IYP”) line has expanded recently…. I reviewed the IYP07 already, but today I have the IYP25, which is similar to the rest but is a 2xAA format.

Astrolux M01 Keychain Flashlight Review

Two 10180 lights this week?  I had this one slated for later, but after the Lumintop light being a bit of a disappointment, I wanted to get something better back in that category.  This is the Astrolux M01, a light that’s been around for a long while.  It’s been updated to “219c” but read on to see a little surprise….

CWF Dragon Driver (in MechForce MechTorch) Review

For the longest time I’ve wanted to try the Dragon driver.  Out of all the lights I’ve ever had, I’ve never managed to snag one that came with a Dragon driver.  But I did recently get the MechForce MechTorch host, so I went and purchased a Dragon driver with the intention of installing it myself, into this host.  You can see from yesterday’s post that this was successful, so now I have a flashlight with a Dragon driver, for testing!  Read on for more!

RovyVon A8 Y Flashlight Review

There was a group buy organized on reddit of this special run of the Aurora series… It was this Nichia version, with a modified UI. I got my copy recently and I’ve been playing with and testing it. It’s similar enough to the older ones that this review will be brief[er] on text, but with description of differences.

RovyVon E300S (Nichia!) Flashlight Review

I reviewed a few lights for RovyVon, and one of those was the E300S.  That light has Cree XP-G3, one of my least favorite current emitters, and after the input from my review (and let’s be humble, probably other sources), RovyVon released a Nichia option!  This review is largely the same as that original, with the main difference being the emitters.

Reylight Pineapple (Updated) Flashlight Review

Banggood asked if there was anything I’d like to review.  I have been interested to see what Rey has done with the newer Pineapples, and so they sent the Pineapple Update.  I reviewed the original Pineapple.  I liked the original Pineapple!  Let’s see how this one’s improved!

FocusWorks Eryx F1 Flashlight Review

Today I have a special light.  This is another “new to the flashlight market but skilled in other stuff” flashlight.  And it’s unusual.  Titanium and copper mix, and it’s a reflector light.  It’s not a run-of-the-mill triple, as so many customs* are these days.  I’m excited to have this one in my hands, and I hope if nothing else, the glut of photos I’ve included here tell you the story of this light!

Eagtac SX30C2 Flashlight Review

Here’s my second Eagtac light, the SX30C2.  This is a throwier version of the Eactac I just reviewed, the TX30C2.  The specs and such are otherwise pretty much the same!  As a result, much of the review will be carry over, too.

Eagtac TX30C2 Flashlight Review

I have tried for ages to get lights by EagTac for review.  Their lights are consistently solid offerings, and one of the few brands which offer Nichia emitters in their main lineup.  I have a couple of these EagTac lights in for review; here’s the first one!  This is the TX30C2, an 18650 light with medium range, and dual switch interface.

Mechforce Mechtorch EDC Titanium Turbo Flashlight Review

There’s a brand new flashlight maker on the scene.  Mechforce has been making all sorts of things: firearm accessories and parts, spinners, and tools, and has this new entry to the flashlight world.  It’s the Mechtorch EDC Flashlight.  I’m super excited to have one of these and pleased to submit this review.  Read on for photos and thoughts!

Sinner 18350 Ready-Made Titanium Flashlight Review

I was lucky enough a while back to get in on a Sinner drop directly from Sinner himself.  So this light came to me directly from United Arab Emirates.  I was excited to snag it, but you don’t have to get these that way.  There is at least one site that drops these lights on occasion.  This is my review of the Sinner 18350 Ready-Made Titanium Flashlight.
