CRI and CCT Tests on LEDs in the Olight i5T Plus Flashlight

CRI and CCT Testing New LED Choices in the Olight i5T Plus Flashlight

Olight has released neutral and warm white versions of the Olight i5T Plus flashlight! This AAx2 light is available in colors, too. Review later!

Cri And Cct Tests On Leds In The Olight I5T Plus

I’ll likely offer a more complete test of these lights soon. Functionally, they shouldn’t be much different at all from the Olight i3T Plus Ancient Bamboo I just tested recently, so you can see how that light works to get an idea of the Olight i5T Plus flashlight.

Official Specs and Features

Here’s a ShareaSale link to the official product page. I think you should buy this light, and maybe at least two of these lights. There are plenty of reasons, some of which I’ll cover after the testing below. Namely, Olight is offering neutral white and warm white, and this is our opportunity to support that! Also, obviously, it’s available in orange, and that’s spectacular. Olight does orange a very nice orange.

If you decide to buy some of these, it’d be awesome for me if you use this Shareasale link to buy the Olight i5T Plus flashlight. These are going for around $32 right now.

Conclusion

What do I think about these? Well, flashlight enthusiasts often say Olight needs to have a neutral or warm white version of their lights. So here you go! Usually, in that conversation, CRI is not mentioned. So it’s hard to fault Olight for not having a high CRI version here – they’ve answered the request and are offering warmer CCT emitter options.

Should you buy the Olight i5T Plus flashlight? I mean… probably? For a couple of reasons. First, it’s pretty solid. I like the new design. Secondly, it’s available in warm and neutral (you probably want both). Thirdly, it can help Olight know that we’re serious about our NW and WW…. they can see how many we are, and we can further encourage Olight to use even better emitters.
