After [forever] of not having a headlamp with a separate battery pack, I got the Olight HS2. I didn’t really think I’d like this setup (hence me never having one in decades of having lights). I wasn’t sure how I’d like this light….
Another iteration in the Olight Nova series. This time it’s with an 18650 cell, an updated headband connection, and overall higher output. Olight sent one over for me to test and see how this one stacks up! Thanks to Olight and Going Gear for sending this light to me.
Marshall at Going Gear sent me these two Olight S Mini’s for review – he asked which I’d like to review and I tried to pick two that otherwise might not get reviewed, or looked at much. Black copper, and Stainless Steel. I’ll admit I love the look of the SS version. Let’s see how they stack up.
Here’s another in light from the Olight family, and one that I was quite excited and expectant for, and very happy to have! This was sent to me by Olight, through Going Gear. Special thanks to Going Gear for sending these my way! Thanks u/storl!
This is a review of the Olight S2A Badon. I happen to like using AA’s in lights because I have a ton of Eneloops around the house, so this is a nice model for me. This will be very similar to the S2R and S1R I recently reviewed, but there were enough differences I wanted to review them separately.
These were both sent to me by Olight, through Going Gear. I’m a fan of 16340 size lights, and the S1 is one of my favorite lights to carry, so I was interested in this light for sure! I’m also a (relatively) recent convert into the 18650 world and many of my favorite lights are 18650 lights! I’m doing these two lights together since they’re so similar – differing really only in the cell they use. Special thanks to Going Gear for sending these my way!
Finally, a can light of my very own!! I have wanted one of these for ages and I’m super excited for my first one to be an Olight X7, sent to me by Olight (through Going Gear). Special thanks to Going Gear for sending these my way! Thanks u/storl!
