There’s a new AA light on the market, and fortunately it’s quite versatile – it supports AA (Alkaline/NiMH) and 14500 as well! It’s the Lumintop EDC AA, a relatively simple light with a mechanical clicky tail switch.
The great guys over at Illumn.com have the new Acebeam L17 in stock and wanted me to get some numbers on it. The Acebeam L17 is an Osram Flat White thrower similar to the E10, but in 18650 format. Read on for some thoughts and testing!

What can I say about the TIKI that I haven’t already said about the RovyVon Aurora series. We should get this discussion out of the way at the start: version one of the Aurora, which was released maybe a year and a half ago, and this TIKI/TIKI LE are basically the same. I asked Nitecore about this specifically, and they declined to respond. I asked RovyVon about this specifically and they were very clear that this was in no way whatsoever a collaboration in any format.

Today I have in for review a light that has been highly anticipated, and well regarded, and one I’ve been extremely excited about reviewing. Originally released in copper as a limited edition, the wider release of aluminum at a lower cost makes this an even more appealing light.
